A Few Words about a Few Guys: Opening night edition
Every week TradeDebate will be throwing out a few random musings about a few different NBA players and their surrounding fantasy values. Take of it what you will.
George Hill – Expect this hip issue to linger and possibly cost him some future games.
James Harden – Guaranteed to return top 15 value with top 8 upside.
Greivis Vasquez – With no depth or other PGs in New Orleans, Vasquez is going to provide solid #s all year long and will be draft steal.
LeBron James – For those who took Durant #1 shame on you. Not to say Durant isn’t great, but we haven’t seen a level like this in 20 years, he’s possessed.
Kyle Lowry – For those worried that Calderon would steal his minutes; Jose played 26 of them yesterday, most of them at shooting guard.
Marvin Williams – Don’t be fooled into thinking he will blossom, instead look at his first week last season.
Mo Williams – Will be an excellent value pick all season and put solid PG numbers across the board.
DeMarcus Cousins - Is a beast in 8-Cat leagues, but is going to drive you crazy all season with the TOs.
Damien Lillard – Same as Cousins (except he gets the rookie pass) and has a very bright future.
Andre Miller – still has sneaky PG value as a glue/bench guy on fantasy teams this year
Jason Richardson/Dorell Wright – Will both have solid statistical season as Philly loves their wing guys, but except a hit on both when Bynum returns.

Jeremy Lin – For those worried, Harden is a major positive on his fantasy game
Darren Collison – Sure seems to like playing in the softer Run n’ Gun West.
Anderson Varejao – Is a solid player and a #2 fantasy Center, but he won’t play Earl Barron every night either.
Blazers starting 5 – With literally zero depth, the Blazers big 4 are primed for big minutes and big seasons.
Spencer Hawes/Byron Mullens – Big White guys who fill the C position in your line up, one will work out, the other won’t. My money is on Mullens.
